FAQ
Fair questions, straight answers.
Do you trade my money?
No — and that's the point. TradeTape Autopilot is software you run. It connects to your own
brokerage account, on your own machine or server. Your credentials never leave your instance,
and we have no ability to touch your funds. We sell software and research, not asset management.
Is this investment advice?
No. Signals are systematic, non-personalized research published to all subscribers alike.
Nothing here accounts for your personal situation, and you alone decide what to do with your account.
What if the track record is bad?
Published closed records retain losses as well as gains. Only results with complete, verified fill and fee evidence enter performance statistics.
When no qualifying signals have closed, the ledger shows zero records and no performance estimate.
Can Autopilot lose money?
Yes. Options are leveraged instruments and losses can be substantial and fast. That's why
Use read-only or paper evaluation first. Live trading requires the instance administrator's explicit
permissions, verified qualification evidence and current risk checks. Elapsed time alone never
enables live trading. These controls do not prevent every loss.
Which markets and brokers?
Strikeline has Hong Kong and US market channels within one product. Futu and IBKR use a shared read-only research screen: Futu covers supported Hong Kong derivatives and US options, and IBKR covers US options. Their execution evidence and net trade results remain separate streams. Current availability and quote timing are shown per source and record; an implemented screen does not guarantee current data. A screening candidate is not an executed trade. TradeTape connects to your own separately configured Futu or IBKR instance.
